Four Girls Under Four Under One Roof

Meritt and Piper have the pleasure of playing all month with cousins Betty and Lucy, who arrived last week from their new home on San Juan Island. Tree gathering, skiing, gingerbread house decorating, and modeling clay are just a few of the activities in store for the Furber-Filkin clan.
Currently, Piper eats yogurt while Lucy is fast asleep upstairs. Betty zooms around the table on a scooter, while Meritt hands out tickets for the show at each rotation.
Check back tonight when the USB cord for the camera will be found and photos from Chucky Cheese will surely delight.

eleven degrees

Right now: 11 degrees, (and more than) 12 days until Christmas. 4 children under 4 asleep. Wife and brother chatting on the couch by our fire. Sister-in-law and I setting up this blog. Black dog dreaming on a dirty clothes pile. XM alternative Christmas playing; I love this station. "If I had a secret santa, I wouldn't have to eat fruit cake."
